■Visiting the Northern Part: Healing and Superb View Route

The northern part of the main island of Okinawa is an area of pristine wilderness called Yanbaru. Once you step into the Bise Fukugi Tree Street located in Bise Village, you will feel a mystic feeling just as if you are in a forest of Totoro. Places you must visit in the northern part are Ocean Expo Park and Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. When you go to Cape Manzamo, you will see a cliff with a huge hole in a middle, which looks like an elephant nose.
